After two years with tourism badly damaged due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it seems that these holidays Brazilians want to leave home.
Research carried out by trigger shows the consumption trends of Brazilians for the 2022 and 2023 summer holidays and points out that 64% of Brazilians intend to travel, 23% more than in the winter holidays; furthermore, 31% intend to spend more than last year.
O North East remains the preferred destination. There are more than 41% that have the region as a destination, followed by the Southeast (14%), South (12%), international travel (4.6%), North (4.3%) and Midwest (3.2%). %); but regardless of the destination, the majority really want peace and rest (64% have this objective) with the family – 50.95% will travel with relatives. As for accommodation, 24% intend to stay in a hotel, against 21.87% at friends’ houses and 20.32% in inns.
