The TVs received an all-metal case with narrow bezels and full-screen backlighting. The display has a typical grayscale response time of 6.5ms, 10-bit color depth, and 94% coverage of the P3 color gamut. It also supports FreeSync Premium and Dolby Vision. Redmi Smart TV X 2022 also supports 120Hz refresh rate and MEMC technology, which is designed to improve the clarity of dynamic images and reduce blur.
In terms of sound, Smart TV X received four built-in speakers, as well as two large sound resonators with a volume of 0.38 liters each, while the audio output power is 25 watts. There is also support for Dolby Atmos technology.
Redmi Smart TV X 2022 is equipped with MediaTek MTK 9650 SoC, which is used in the premium Mi TV Master Edition. The TV received 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal flash memory. It is equipped with two HDMI 2.0 (eARC) ports, one HDMI 2.1 (4K 120Hz), one AV, one ATV / DTMB, two USB, one S / PDIF, one RJ-45, and an array of four microphones for voice command recognition with different distances.
The 55-inch version costs $ 422 in China, while the 65-inch version costs $ 547. Sales start on October 31st.
