7,680 CUDA cores, of which just over half are available. Nvidia will release a new version of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti

Earlier there were rumors that Nvidia will have a new version of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 3D card based on the GA103 GPU (the current GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is based on the GA104), and now they have been confirmed: a new version of this video card is seen in the Nvidia Studio driver … It is assigned the ID number 2414, which matches the GA103-based PCI device numbers (this GPU is used in the mobile GeForce RTX 3080 Ti – the most powerful Nvidia graphics card for laptops at the moment).

7,680 CUDA cores, of which just over half are available. Nvidia will release a new version of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti

The same data was confirmed by a well-known informant on Twitter. He revealed that the new GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is based on the GA103-200. So the release of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti on GA103 is clearly not far off, but for users this does not mean absolutely nothing, since the characteristics of the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti on GA104 and GA103 will be the same. Interestingly, there are as many as 7,680 CUDA cores in GA103, but to ensure the equality of their number with GA104, 60% of these cores will be disabled.
