Lenovo is preparing to release a gaming tablet called Lenovo Legion Y700, the details of which have been published by the manufacturer’s chief executive officer.
According to him, the Lenovo Legion Y700 is an 8.8-inch tablet with a 2560 x 1600 screen resolution and 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut. The screen will also support 120Hz refresh rates and touch sampling rates up to 240Hz. Such tablets are still rare.
The Lenovo Legion Y700 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 SoC, which still offers top-notch performance even in 2022. This platform is second only to the Snapdragon 888 and the latest SoCs.

The tablet will also be equipped with JBL speakers with support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Audio. Photos show at least one USB-C port and one rear camera. There are also some unique software features in development. Users will be able to change the aspect ratio of the game to 21: 9 (with black bars).
It is not yet clear if Lenovo plans to bring this device to markets other than China.
