The Nvidia H100 accelerator was introduced in March, and the other day we described its GPU in more detail. Now we have the opportunity to take a closer look at the brainchild of Nvidia.

As you can see, despite the incredible performance, the size of the accelerator is very small. This is an SXM5 form factor solution, but the H100 will also be available with a PCIe 5.0 interface, except that the characteristics of this version are more modest.

It was the version with PCIe 5.0 that recently appeared in the assortment of an online store in Japan at a price of over $36,000. But you need to understand that the adapters themselves will enter the market only in the second half of the year, so it will be possible to talk about prices something more intelligible only then.

Recall that the Nvidia H100 relies on the GH100 GPU with 18,432 CUDA cores, which consists of 80 billion transistors. The GPU is combined with 80 GB of HBM3 memory, and the TDP of the same version of SXM5 reaches 700 watts.
