Spanish firefighters carried out today (28/4) an impressive rescue from the air, freeing an 800 kg bull, who had fallen on a beach.
Bolero, the bull, was slightly injured yesterday, as he was wandering in his pasture, in the region of Asturias, in the north of Spain, he fell from a steep slope, from a height of 100 meters.
Attempts to raise him were unsuccessful due to its size, so firefighters requested air assistance, as described by the Asturias fire department.
After the animal was anesthetized, rescuers tied it with a safety belt and rope before a helicopter lifted it into the air from La Carnera Beach in the Bay of Biscay.
After the successful rescue, Bolero was photographed resting quietly in a nearby green pasture, firefighters said on their Twitter account.
