Ambition, success, charisma: the jacket-trousers or jacket-skirt suit of the fabulous Eighties represents all of this. Iconic films such as A career woman of 1988 starring Melanie Griffith, then they consecrated it as the perfect suit to represent energy and power (hence the name power dress) of women.

A basic to carry with us but to wear in a very specific way, as taught by trend of this spring-summer 2024. If previously you kept the light sweater in your bag in case of a drop in temperatures, today you place it on your shoulders, just like they did in the Eighties. A fully upper-class aesthetic old money revival.

A true cult in the era of the sandwich makers. His oversized fit it is casual but at the same time well defined: nothing is ever left to chance. In those years, as is still happening today, customizations won, just as in the case of the model worn by Madonna in 1986. Yes to contrasting fabric inserts, to patches and the legendary pins.
