Cornell University research has given impressive results in relation to people’s concerns. The study followed people over a long period of time and recorded that 85% of their concerns were not verified. If that sounds like good news, the research has even better. Of the 15% of concerns that were ultimately verified, 79% of the time people handled them much better than they expected. In fact, they claimed that they learned something from the experience they had. If you do the math you will find that 97% of the time people actually had no reason to worry. This means that 97% of the time we either don’t even have anything to worry about, or we can handle what we were worried about better than expected.
