LG today unveiled brand new QNED TV lines at CES 2021 – QNED99 and QNED95 with 8K panels and QNED90 with 4K panels. According to the manufacturer, the TV uses advanced matrices that combine the color technology of quantum nanodots (Quantum NanoCell, QNED) and mimi LED backlighting. As a result, the full name of the new technology is QNED miniLED.

The TVs use Alpha 9 Gen 4 AI processors (in QNED99 and QNED95) and Alpha 7 Gen 4 AI (in QNED90). There is also a webOS 6.0 software shell and HDMI 2.1 ports for better compatibility with modern consoles, support for Dolby Vision technology. The press release notes the presence of a new remote control with shortcut keys for Netflix, Amazon and Disney + services.
Each line is presented in three models with screens of 65, 75 and 86 inches. The TVs are equipped with ATSC 3.0 (American specification) and DVB-T2 / S2 / C (European version) tuners, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and Bluetooth 5.0 adapters, three USB ports. Supports hardware decoding of MPEG4 / 2, HEVC, VP9 and AV1 video. There are two voice assistants to choose from: Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
