8K, neural processor and 144Hz: Samsung talks about the new features of TV and soundbars

Today, April 18, South Korean company Samsung Electronics, the world’s leading TV manufacturer, unveiled many technological innovations in its TV and audio product lines as part of its own Samsung Visual Display Forum 2022. The company said that Samsung’s latest displays, in line with the “Screens Everywhere, Screens for All” concept, offer potential buyers a richer experience of absorbing various types of content and, importantly, excellent compatibility with multiple devices. For example, Samsung Neo QLED 8K technology can be called the real highlight of the program – it absorbed three innovations at once.

Firstly, this technology provides an extended color range from 12 bits to 14 bits – due to this, according to Samsung experts, light is transmitted four times more accurately than last year’s models. Secondly, the company considers the Shape Adaptive Light Control function, which can significantly increase the level of image contrast, to be the most important upgrade in the company. And thirdly, the Quantum 8K neural processor allows you to achieve the best quality of content on the display – it boasts twenty independent artificial intelligence-based neural networks that analyze the original content and improve the image.

In addition, Samsung believes that 2022 TVs and screens are the perfect choice for gamers. To do this, the Gaming Hub streaming platform has received a significant update, plus HDMI 2.1 ports, special Motion Xcelerator Turbo Pro 4K 144Hz and Super Ultrawide GameView modes, as well as an intuitive Game Bar. At the same time, the manufacturer did not forget about comfort – the EyeComfort eye protection mode will positively affect the user’s vision, and smart calibration is able to adapt the device to the space of each home.
