9-5 is a waste of time, says 22-year-old self-made millionaire

Work smarter, not harder, says Cam Moar, a self-proclaimed entrepreneur millionaire from Australia, who believes people are “wasting their lives pointlessly” working 9 to 5. “They learn that all you do in life is go to school, then get a degree or a profession, buy a house and spend the rest of your life paying it off,” he told JamPress.

“I want to open people’s eyes to what is possible,” Moar said. “I just want them to see what they could do with their lives instead of spending it working a 9 to 5”.

The 22-year-old got a taste of this work as a teenager when he worked as an apprentice carpenter. He remembers working 12-hour shifts, five days a week for $600.

“I liked carpentry, so I did carpentry. It was nice at first, but it quickly became boring and monotonous – like most jobs,” said Moar. Eventually, he realized there was “more to life than making his boss rich.”

He quit carpentry six months before completing the program, leaving behind his dreams of becoming a construction manager and making $100,000.

Moar’s parents were concerned about his career transition, but he dispelled their doubts when he brought in $69,000 in his first two months selling products through e-commerce. “When the money started coming in, I was stunned,” he said. “Within just a few days of selling online, I was earning my weekly wages as an apprentice and not “killing” my body».

Moar founded an e-commerce company in 2020 called “6 Figure Drop Shipper” where he works two to three hours a day teaching people the… art of e-commerce.

Two years later, the businessman collects $250,000 a month and is worth $1 million.

“Now, every day is really different and I’m the master of my own destiny,” he noted. “I still work hard, but I don’t get up at 5 in the morning to drive an hour to work to build someone else’s house.”

He admits the business can be risky: “It could collapse at any moment and that’s always in the back of my mind. It’s all my risks, but it’s also my reward.”

The self-made millionaire takes care of himself by traveling to exotic locations, living in his $1.2 million beach house and driving a $180,000 BMW M5.

“I’d be lying if I said I love e-commerce, because I don’t. But I love being rich and what it allows me to do with my life.”he emphasized.
