The prices of construction materials continue to move upwards. According to ELSTAT in February, the General Price Index of Construction Materials for New Residential Buildings increased by 9%, on an annual basis, compared to an increase of 0.7% when comparing the respective indices of 2021 with 2020.
According to ELSTAT, the General Index in February 2022, compared to the index of January 2022, showed an increase of 2.0%, compared to an increase of 0.4% recorded during the comparison of the respective months of 2021.
The average index for the twelve months of March 2021 – February 2022, compared to the corresponding index for the twelve months of March 2020 – February 2021, showed an increase of 5.0%, compared to a decrease of 0.2% compared to the previous twelve months.
