A 20-year-old Greek man was beaten to death in a German park – he was celebrating his sister’s graduation

The death of a 20-year-old Greek man who was beaten to death in a park not far from where his sister’s graduation ceremony was taking place is causing outrage in Germany. Bild wrote in a publication that Philippos Tsanis on Saturday night went to the graduation dance of the 3rd high school of the Ratsgymnasium in Minden, which is located in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The dance took place at the Kaiserpalais and after the event the victim and a friend of his sister left the building. Then, they went to cross an adjacent park to go to the Adiamo Dance Club, where the graduation party would continue. There they met a group of 10 people and a heated argument ensued, with the strangers attacking the two young men and severely beating Philip.
