The Yandex team announced the expansion of the functionality of the universal service Yandex.Mail 360 – the function of creating backups has appeared.
When activated in the automatic copying settings, the service will create copies of all deleted messages, which will be stored in a special storage for six months. You can find an accidentally deleted message even after a few months by clicking the “View deleted messages” button.
The service also allows you to make a copy of the desired folders or the entire box. It will retain the same structure as the original at the time of copying. To start copying, you need to select the desired folders and click “Create backup”. And when you need a copy, you can get it using the “Restore letters” button. For additional protection, before creating or restoring a copy, you will need to enter a password from the mail or a code from an SMS.
The service operates as part of a paid subscription for the tariffs “Standard 100 GB”, “Premium 1 TB”, “Premium 3 TB” and “Premium 5 TB”. At the moment, the new function is available only to some subscribers, but soon it will work for all Yandex.Mail 360 users.
As a reminder, Yandex launched Yandex.Mail 360 at the end of September 2020. It is a set of services for work, united by a common interface. The set includes Yandex.Mail, Yandex.Disk, Yandex.Calendar, Yandex.Telemost, Yandex.Messenger and Yandex.Notes.
