A bar in Copenhagen has started offering its customers the opportunity to do diagnostics coronavirus test and drink a beer while they wait for the result. The move comes in a bid to boost revenue, after months of restrictions.
Customers pay around € 25 to be tested in a special booth at the Warpigs Brewpub. About half an hour later, if they come out negative, they are allowed to enter.
Her government Denmark has established a “coron-passport” system based on which those who wish can enter a store using a mobile phone application or a form showing whether they have been vaccinated, recovered or tested negative. the previous 72 hours.
Under the system, which went into effect last Wednesday, staff at museums, bars, cafes and restaurants check the “status” of customers before allowing them to enter.
Denmark also offers free tests for Covid-19, but the bar’s customers said that by paying for the entrance test they avoid queues.
“We saw the queue (at the nearest diagnostic center) and we had to wait an hour or two,” Nikolai Martins explained.
