Samsung Electronics launched the flagship Galaxy S21 line of smartphones in January. However, by analogy with last year’s spring Galaxy S20 series and the release of the cheaper Galaxy S20 FE in the fall, this year the “fan” version of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE (Fan Edition) is also expected.

The details were shared by the thematic resource LetsGoDigital, supplementing the information with beautiful renders of a smartphone in different colors and a retail box. These are not official images, but materials created for clarity. The visualization was done by Italian designer Giuseppe Spinelli, who goes by the nickname Snoreyn and joined the LetsGoDigital team more than a year ago.

Galaxy S21 FE should be the cheapest member of the line. Considering that the base model Galaxy S21 already uses a flat screen with Full HD resolution and a plastic case, the question arises – what will be sacrificed in the Galaxy S21 FE?

According to the source, the Galaxy S21 FE will be aimed at a youth audience. The smartphone will be released in four interesting colors of light shades – gray, blue, purple and green. IP68 water protection will remain. The SIM card compartment will slide down. There’s no hope for a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Galaxy S21 FE will not receive the characteristic main camera, which the entire Galaxy S21 line can boast, for the sake of lowering the cost. The Galaxy S21 FE will use a more familiar design. The camera configuration will likely remain the same as last year’s Galaxy S20 FE.

The smartphone will receive a 6.5-inch Full HD + screen – an average between the 6.2-inch S21 and 6.7-inch S21 +. We’ll likely see a 120Hz refresh rate, but not HDR support.

Also noted are SoC Exynos 2100, 6 or 8 GB of RAM, 128 or 256 GB of internal flash memory, a microSD slot is unlikely, a 4800 mAh battery with support for 25 W charging and 15 W wireless charging.

Charging kit will not be supplied. The expected starting price is 650 euros.
LetsGoDigital has been known for many years for its high quality renders based on patents from various companies as well as leaks. Including, the same Spinelli created a year ago created an impressive visualization of the Xbox Series X console. Also in the arsenal of the source are accurate renders of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G and Galaxy S20 Ultra long before the announcement, and much more.
