Speaking of “a motorcycle explosion”, Basra security forces said in a statement that “four civilians were killed and four others were injured, while two vehicles near the motorcycle caught fire”.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, which took place at a crossroads in central Basra, near a hospital and a popular market, as reported by international news agencies and the Athens News Agency.
