An improvised explosive device detonated on the side of a road north of Baghdad on Friday, killing one soldier and wounding four others, the Ministry of Defense said. Iraq.
The attack took place in Tarmiya, 25 kilometers north of the Iraqi capital, the ministry said.
The Islamic state claimed responsibility for the action, claiming it resulted in the death of one soldier and the wounding of nine others.
