The appeal of Clio Zammatteo, make-up artist, entrepreneur and Co-Founder of ClioMakeUp, to give concrete help to children and adults from all over the world suffering from diseases related to treatable facial malformations was welcomed with great enthusiasm. surgically.

The choice to support the Foundation was made thanks to some students of the Student Programs di Operation Smile, a project that involves girls and boys all over the world who, with their commitment, help children and young people with facial deformities, raising funds and carrying out awareness activities towards the pathology and treatments supported by the Foundation.

This year falls on the 10th anniversary of the Progetto Smile House, launched by the Operation Smile Italia Onlus Foundation in collaboration with the National Health Service for the opening of centers specialized in the treatment of facial malformations. There Smile House in Milan it was the first to be built, in September 2011, at the San Paolo Hospital in Milan.
Clio and Elena Dominique Midolo, CEO of ClioMakeUp, were welcomed by Matteo Stocco, General Director of the ASST Santi Paolo and Carlo and visited the Smile House coordinated by Doctor Luca Autelitano, a center where diagnosis and treatment activities are carried out. malformations of the face, prenatal and pre-adoption interviews, aimed at providing medical and psychological support to future parents of children affected by these diseases.

Today the Smile House Project counts, in total, 6 realities: 3 Centers for diagnosis, surgery, treatment, training and research in Milan, Rome and Vicenza and 3 clinics, in Cagliari, Ancona and Taranto dedicated to diagnosis and complementary treatments to surgery .
