Israeli Defense Minister Yav Galad said on Wednesday that the country’s armed forces would make the implementation of decisions made on the course of the war in the Gaza Strip. His statement was made in view of a decisive meeting of the government staff on the next phase of military operations – a plan that has caused reservations about the senior military circles. According to the Israeli press, which foreshadows a complete occupation of the Palestinian enclave, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to chair this afternoon at a meeting of his government’s Security Council, in charge of the military.
