The British destroyer HMS Defender D36 and the Dutch frigate HNMLS Evertsen F805 entered the Black Sea. Before that, both ships rested in Istanbul’s Golden Horn Bay, writes Dumskaya.
Both the destroyer and the frigate are members of the escort squadron of the British aircraft carrier Queen Elizabeth, which went on its first round the world voyage back in May this year. In total, he is accompanied by nine ships and a nuclear submarine.
It is assumed that the ships will take part in the Sea Breeze, a multinational military exercise that has been held in Ukraine since 1997.
