Gotham Awards Winner, “A Different Man” hits Brazilian cinemas this Thursday (12) . The psychological thriller is the filmmaker’s new project Aaron Schimberg (“Chained for Life”).
In the plot, Edward (Sebastian Stan), a man who, After undergoing facial reconstruction surgery, he finds himself attracted to an actor Oswald (Adam Pearson ), who takes part in a play inspired by his previous life.
The production stars Sebastian Stan (“Captain America” and “The Apprentice”), nominated for a Golden Globe for his role, Adam Pearson (“Under the Skin” and “My Amazing Twin”) and Renate Reinsve (“The Worst Person in the World” and “Above Suspicion”).
The feature film premiered on Sundance Film Festival this year and was then presented at the Berlin International Film Festival, where Sebastian Stan received the Silver Bear for Best Actor for his performance in the film. It was also shown at the São Paulo International Film Festival.
