Investors of the largest super yacht in the world “Somnia” promise to travel to the sea only for a few and “elite”.
According to the Daily Mail, the cruise ship that will set sail in 2024, offers for sale 39 ultra-luxury apartments with prices starting at 9.5 million euros.
The 39 “elite” will be able to enjoy the oceans in a floating state with a 220-meter boat consisting of six decks. In fact, each cabin will have a personal kitchen, gym, dining areas and a library.

In fact, the budget of “Somnia” reaches half a billion euros. The project is led by Carl Le Chef, American millionaire, founder and co-owner of Somnio Global, a sustainable technology development group.
However, the crisis of the pandemic that anchored cruise ships in ports for a year made investing in them extremely unsafe. Carnival, the world’s largest cruise ship company, reported a $ 2 billion loss for the March-May quarter due to halved cabin availability.
Apartment owners will decide collectively on an annual itinerary. The boat will have a wine cellar with a capacity of 10,000 bottles and a beach club, while at the same time it will host scientists for lectures and research on the marine environment.
According to BOAT International, a company specializing in superyachts, private boat sales soared to record levels in May as wealthy consumers looked for ways to travel despite Covid-19 restrictions.
