A fully vaccinated married couple died of coronavirus one minute apart

A married couple from Michigan, USA, who was fully vaccinated against COVID-19, died of coronavirus just a minute apart.

Cal Dunham, 59, and his wife Linda, 66, “acquired their angel wings” on Sunday. The relatives emphasize that they died from coronavirus despite being extremely careful and being vaccinated against the virus.

The couple, who suffered from underlying illnesses that have not been made known, fell ill earlier this month during a family trip, said their devastated daughter, Sarah Dunham.

“My dad picked me up before our family trip and he was not feeling well but he thought it was just a runny nose and she was stuck. “He said he had a cold,” he told Fox17.

“On the third day they woke up and said: ‘We have to leave because we are not feeling well. “So I packed their things and they left,” he added.

Within a few days the pair of he was admitted to the hospital and intubated. Both suffered from underlying diseases.

They died holding each other’s hand

The two of them passed away holding each other’s hand. Cal died at 11:07 a.m., followed by his wife at 11:08 a.m., according to the Daily Mail.

Cal Dunham had updated his Facebook profile photo on May 15 to announce that he had been vaccinated. When friends commented that they had done the same vaccine, he commented that they were “wonderful”.

Kendra DeYoung, who created a GoFundMe family page, described Linda Dunham as a “second mother”.

“It was there for me in my first love affair, in my first call for speed, in the decoration of my first home, by my side when I chose the wedding dress,” he wrote.

“I am devastated by this incredible loss, not only for me, but for the world! “Because it made the world a better place,” he added.
