‘A Gaza cease-fire deal is possible and necessary,’ says Israeli opposition leader

The leader of the Israeli opposition, centrist Yair Lapid, today called on Washington to reach a cease-fire agreement in Gaza that would allow the release of the hostages, stressing that “political interests must be put aside.” “I believe that all political interests should be put aside for this reason.
