A graduation party didn’t go well at all Peru… The track collapsed, “swallowing” the teenagers on it and creating images that could have come from an apocalypse movie. The video that went public of the incident has garnered over 4.2 million views on TikTok.
The… fiasco happened while the teenagers were celebrating at their high school in San Martin, according to ElPopular.pe. In the video, which was posted on December 17, the well-dressed students can be seen dancing together in the middle of the dance floor.
Soon, a huge hole opens in the floor and the students fall into it, dust filling the air. The DJ stops playing music and the others run to help them.
It is still unknown what caused the collapse. According to the Trome website, the floor was made of wood and could not support the weight of the children.
All 25 were taken to the local medical center. Fortunately, no one lost their lives, but the severity of the students’ injuries is not known.
However, there was no shortage of jokes about the incident on TikTok. “When they say… we’ll dance till the floor breaks,” one commented.
“The party continued in the basement,” wrote another.
A similar disaster occurred in September when a sinkhole opened up and swallowed several people at a birthday party in Brazil.
