German Finance Minister Lars Klingbil said today that the team of seven developed economies (G7) would probably issue a joint statement that will show its support for Ukraine. “We will make it clear and I am very positive that we will also end up in a joint announcement,” Klingbil said during a press conference in Banf. If Russia is not preparing to start serious negotiations with Ukraine, “we will consider further sanctions,” Klingbil added.
