A lesson in sustainability with Filippa Lagerbäck

Filippa Lagerbäck, famous for its sustainable style, has joined with Tena to give suggestions on how to change your lifestyle by giving a greener imprint.
It is a project that is part of the Tena campaign which planted 200 new trees, one for each social response to the call to action of the brand and Filippa: #leave a better footprint. A drop every 5 seconds corresponds to 2,000 liters of water lost, so checking for small leaks is not a trivial matter …
It is not enough to choose eco bulbs … even cleaning the chandeliers and light points helps to consume less, even if it is really boring.

Recycling is not synonymous with knowingly throwing away. Can I give it away before throwing it away? We should always ask ourselves this question.
These are just some of the green tricks that Tena has collected on the new website dedicated to sustainability, www.lasciaunimprontamigliore.it, a portal that aims to make us responsible for the footprint that each of us leaves on the planet. Indeed, among the many footprints we leave on Earth there is our personal Carbon Footprint, the environmental footprint, measured in CO2 emissions and equivalent to the sum of greenhouse gas emissions produced, directly and indirectly, by a person or by a
organization.

By now we are fully informed and we know everything about circular economy, renewable energy sources and regulations, are we sure? On the new portal there are also some simple quizzes to understand how much we really know about sustainability. From the choice of furniture to that of the greener means of transport, up to current events and national and international choices regarding investments in renewable energy. Between the questions and the quizzes: do you know which is the hottest city in the world?
Tena’s campaign also achieved an important result: thanks to the ambassador’s social call Filippa Lagerback during the month of June, 200 posts and stories on Instagram with #lasciaunimprontamigliore were reached, corresponding to 200 new trees planted by TENA. From the Carbon Footprint to the Green Footprint.

Tena, which has always been attentive to the well-being of people and the planet, is committed to reducing, step by step, its environmental impact in terms of CO2 emissions by 50% by 2030, thanks to the TENA Protects Program. For this reason, in 2020, thanks to the conversion of all TENA plants in Europe to 100% renewable energy, TENA achieved a further -6% of CO2 emissions. A big step that is added to a path started in 2008 and monitored thanks to the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), an analytical and systematic methodology that evaluates the environmental footprint along the entire life cycle of a product.
