A lipstick against violence against women

In addition to dedicating to Ai.Bi. the fundraiser «Give a smile to women victims of violence», KIKO wanted to support women in difficulty followed by the Association also through targeted actions for their reintegration into society and the world of work. Women welcomed into mother-child communities or attending the “Pan di Zucchero” Family Service Centers of Ai.Bi. have had and will have available paths to improve their self-confidence thanks to webinars with qualified personnel and make-up lessons to create make-up looks that make them feel more beautiful and self-confident, coaching meetings for orientation and work placement with Kiko’s HR experts, scholarships to undertake professional training courses and work grants to be able to carry out an internship period in preparation for work placement. Furthermore, foundraising will be further supported by two Temporary Shops called “Il Bello che fa Bene” which will offer the brand’s products for sale.

«For us the beauty is not just an aesthetic factor. It also means something else: it is loving, respecting and trusting oneself in order to take control of one’s life. Our commitment aims to go beyond products to serve the community and help not to leave anyone behind. We are proud to support Ai.Bi. and make our staff and our stores available to send a message that speaks of respect and clearly says no to violence against women ”, says Cristina Scocchia, CEO of KIKO.

«We are very happy with this renewed collaboration with KIKO Milan – says Marco Griffini, President of Ai.Bi, Associazione Amici dei Bambini -. A prestigious brand that has shown great sensitivity to issues concerning women and mothers most in need of attention. They have already supported us with very effective projects in the past and this collaboration on the occasion of the day against violence against women is a further demonstration of their sensitivity and the attention they share with Ai.Bi. in helping those who are most in difficulty ».

Violence against women is an increasingly urgent issue in a world where mistreatment, abuse and femicide often fill the news. All topics to which Kiko Milano has always been very attentive and for which Ai.Bi. has been actively involved for years. A common sensitivity that has led to concrete results and to the setting of many new objectives.

Support Ai.Bi. it will give strength to those who have none at this moment.
