According to Brandthe man who threw the cake in the Mona Lisa, entered the room where the Da Vinci masterpiece is exhibited in a wheelchair and wearing a wig. To the surprise of those present, suddenly he got up, approached the “Gioconda” and threw the sweet.

As the Spanish site points out, the museum’s security staff hurried to remove the man from the roomwhile people around continued to photograph and shoot videos.
The incident ended quickly, the protective glass was cleaned immediately and the panel remained intact.
