A military base near the border with Ukraine was hit by a drone

Authorities in Transnistria, the breakaway pro-Russian region of Moldova, said today that a drone struck a radar station at a military base, causing no significant damage or casualties. A similar incident occurred three weeks ago. “Today at 14:35 a kamikaze drone attacked a military base of the Ministry of Defense of the Moldavian Republic of Transnistria, in the district of Rubnitsa, six kilometers from the border with Ukraine,” the Ministry of State Security of the separatists said in its announcement. “The target was a radar station that suffered minor damage, no casualties. A team of investigators is working on the ground,” the same source added, without directly blaming Ukraine for the strike.
