First political force, with a significant difference from the ruling faction that comes second, the French far-right is expected to emerge in the European elections of June 9, 2024according to a poll published in the newspaper “Les Echos”.
Particularly, the poll shows Marine Le Pen’s National Alarm party, whose European ballot will be headed by party secretary Jordan Bardelaleading with 28% of the vote, while Emmanuel Macron’s presidential majority, whose ballot leader is not yet known, appears to be garnering 19% of voting intentions.
The third place, as reported by the Athens News Agency, appears to be occupied by the Socialist party with 9%, while the Environmentalists and Republicans parties follow with 8% each.
The also far-right party of Eric Zemur, where the head of the European ballot will be Le Pen’s niece, Marion Marechal, as well as Jean-Luc Mélenchon’s France Insubordinate appear to have a percentage of 7%, while around 3% will be the Communist Party.
