The popular Google Photos app has received an update that makes it easier to access screenshots. The home page now has a large shortcut button that redirects the user to the screenshots folder.
Previously, users had to scroll to the bottom of the screen, tap the Library tab, and then open the Screenshots folder to view screenshots. The new shortcut button also shows the number of new screenshots added to the folder, so instead of being permanently present on the home page, it only appears when new screenshots are taken.
Google recently introduced a More like this button, which should help users find similar photos without having to browse too many pages. The app also got an update to change the date and time of a video or photo.
As we already reported, a new version of the popular Google Camera 8.4 application has become available on the web.
