Elected six times the best soccer player in the world, Martha will be the guest of the program that premieres the third season of “À Prioli”, directed by Gabriela Prioli, this Saturday (3), at 11 pm.
The athlete opened the doors of her home in Orlando, United States, for a conversation about her successful career and the difficulties of achieving stardom in a predominantly male sport.
In an interview, the athlete said that she only won in football because she never lowered her head and always responded to criticism on the pitch.
Despite all the success on and off the pitch, Marta – the top scorer of the Brazilian team – reveals that she is still not satisfied: she still pursues the dream of seeing other girls shining on the fields.
The champion also said that when she leaves the lawns, she will dedicate herself to social causes as a UN ambassador.
Gabriel Prioli revealed that he had fun during the recording of the premiere episode. “We played pool, we played cards. Marta is very competitive and so am I. But in this case, I was competing with the best in the world in football who is also very good at other things”, said the presenter.
