Success Rockets has unveiled a lightweight Stalker rocket designed to launch satellites of various formats into Earth orbit, from cubesats to microsatellites. The rocket will be capable of launching a 700 kg payload into orbit up to 700 km.

The first orbital flight of the Stalker is scheduled for 2024. As Success Rockets CEO Oleg Mansurov said, “the payload mass of the rocket was calculated by the SR team, taking into account the forecasts of the professional community regarding the development of the space launch market in the future 5-10 years”.
It is assumed that the length of the rocket will be 33 m, diameter – 2.2 m. The head fairing will be provided in size both corresponding to the rocket itself and increased – 3.2 m. Both stages will be equipped with LE11 (Lucky Engine-11) liquid propellant rocket engines powered by oxygen-kerosene steam. Nine of them will stand on the first step, one – on the second. Ground thrust will be 11.4 tons, high-altitude modification – 13 tons. “The idea of its reusable use was initially laid in the design of the engine”, the company said. The company plans to produce the carbon composite for the fairing and part of the rocket body on its own.
