Aleksey Logvinsky, Executive Director of the Academgorodok Technopark Foundation, told TASS that the first production incubator in the Russian Federation for the development of small high-tech businesses will appear on the site of the Novosibirsk Technopark in the village of Lozhok. Its difference from similar projects will be the provision of the necessary equipment for the first mass production of young companies’ products.

“We are good at bringing projects with a zero development stage to the creation of a prototype, to entering the market, for this we have the necessary infrastructure, the infrastructure for R&D. And then, already when the company needs to create a small production, there are still non-permanent orders, production areas are needed. The idea is to create such a production incubator at the new site of the technopark, so that companies can advance at the stage when product series are already needed, when there are already orders.”– said Logvinsky.
He added that the new shared use center will be equipped with machines, loaders and other equipment that the young high-tech business could use to produce the first batch of products for the customer, as long as he does not have sufficient capital to open his production facilities. In Russia, there are no such industrial incubators, according to the interlocutor of the agency. Currently, the leadership of the Academpark is preparing to start building the engineering infrastructure to the new site, after which the design and construction of buildings will begin.
In 2021, the Ministry of Science of the Novosibirsk Region reported an acute shortage of space for technopark residents. To solve the problem, a new Academpark site will be prepared in the Novosibirsk village of Lozhok, where by 2025 it is planned to build premises for high-tech business on an area of 3.5 hectares.
