The horror movie “A Quiet Place: Day One” gained an immersive experience on the Alexa virtual assistant. The action takes place amid the release of the film, which hits Brazilian cinemas on Thursday (27), and is now available.
To unlock the action, you need to activate the skill (applications that add immersive features to the device) in the application and give the command “Alexa, open the Quiet Place challenge”.
From this, the virtual assistant introduces and ambiences the apocalyptic scenario of the film and proposes to help reach a safe place based on the rules for surviving in a dystopian world, like the one in the franchise. The action is a partnership between Paramount Pictures, the film’s studio, and Amazon, a technology company.
The first film in the horror film universe was released in 2018 and showed a family that is stalked by a terrifying ghostly entity. To protect themselves, they must remain absolutely silent at all costs, as the danger is activated by the perception of sound. A sequel was released in 2020.
“A Quiet Place: Day One” is a prelude, that is, it shows what happened before the plot portrayed in the two other productions.
