In particular, the amendments are planned to be introduced into the legislation on the protection of consumer rights, and, if approved, they will become the basis for the settlement of such disputes. Thus, buyers will have the opportunity to officially record their claims to the product and solve the problem with the store.
According to Mishustin, with the help of the service, Russians will be able to choose solution options: return money for the product, change it, or get a discount on the next purchase. This should “create favorable conditions for effective consumer protection and strengthen confidence in the field of online commerce,” the prime minister said.
