THE Netflix released this Tuesday (29) the first trailer for the comedy “An Undercover Spy “, new series on the platform. The title stars Ted Danson star of “Cheers ” and “The Good Place “.
The story follows Charles (Danson), a retired teacher who lives without great prospects since the death of his wife, which occurred a year ago . Trapped in a repetitive routine and with an increasingly distant relationship with his daughter, he comes across an advertisement for a private detective.
Motivated by this unexpected discovery, Charles decides to reinvent himself and take on a new mission: going undercover to uncover the mystery surrounding the theft of a valuable family heirloom. Production is created by Mike Schur from “The Good Place“, “Parks and Recreation” and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine“
“A Spy Undercover” is also based on the documentary “Double Agent”, nominated for the Oscar for Best Documentary in 2021. The production arrives on Netflix in November 21st .
