It’s not just the rich and famous who are drawing attention at the Cannes Film Festival this year. Star of Cannes, a three-year-old Lulu-da-vomerânia, has stopped pedestrians while walking regularly on La Croisette Avenue.
The cute coat and wide smile attracted the attention of tourists and locals, many of whom asked to take pictures with her.
“When Star [estrela em inglês] It’s strolling, it’s always like this, everyone for every minute, ”said her owner Sami Ansari to Reuters.“ She doesn’t always like to be stopped… but she has to do it because it’s Cannes star. ”
Star is one of many dogs in Cannes who underwent “transformations” in time from the beginning of the festival.
The owner of the aesthetic company canine “La Boutique du Chien”, Laurie Laforest, 33, told Reuters that many owners mark times asking her dogs to match their clothes and hairstyles.
Laforest said the company has received varied orders in the 58 years since its foundation. An owner even asked a palm of gold to be printed on his dog’s coat, to emulate the prize granted to the winners of the most prestigious Cannes award.
Star has its own Instagram account and is followed by over 100 profiles. Your account features photographs displaying your cute white coat, which, according to Laforest, is high among dogs in Cannes.
Although names like Angelina Jolie and Natalie Portman ostate much more Instagram followers, Ansari says her Pomeranian dog is the true Cannes star.
