Some time ago, specialized publications reported that the Chinese car manufacturer Changan, which is already represented on the Russian market, will bring a new stylish CS85 Coupe crossover to the country. And yesterday, February 10, the Avtostat news outlet, citing the Changan press service, confirmed this information, stating that the coupe-like SUV will already be sold in Russia – the basic version starts at 3.3 million rubles. This is a fairly attractive price against the background of much more expensive representatives of the German automotive industry, which, with the same characteristics, design and set of options, used to be sold from 4-5 million rubles and even more.
Unfortunately, at the moment, the Changan CS85 Coupe is presented on the Russian market with only one engine option. We are talking about a two-liter turbocharged engine that demonstrates a power of 224 horsepower – for a crossover, the characteristics are quite decent. In this case, the vehicle runs on front-wheel drive and is paired with an eight-speed Aisin automatic transmission. No information was received from official dealers about the dynamics of acceleration of this vehicle, but earlier suppliers from China reported acceleration from standstill to hundreds in 7.5 seconds.

At the same time, for a price of 3.3 million rubles, a potential buyer receives a very worthy set of options – there is a fully LED head optics, climate control for two zones, 19-inch wheels and, importantly, a decent multimedia system with a 12.3-inch display. . Also, fans of tight city parking lots like the presence of a surround camera and an automatic parking function, plus there is cruise control, a lot of electronic driving assistants and even memory seats. And in general, the interior looks quite luxurious, especially in cherry color.

The body of the Changan CS85 Coupe, of course, also deserves special attention – outwardly, the crossover resembles the Mercedes-AMG GLE, only with a more aggressive grille and, of course, much more practical plastic lining on the wings and wheel arches. At the rear of the car, you can see the exhaust system, divided immediately by four twin exhaust pipes – they are real, and not a “trick”, like many vehicles on the market today.
