An 18-year-old from Italy killed his father to defend his mom, in a nightmarish setting of chronic domestic violence.
Alex Pompa stabbed Giuseppe’s 52-year-old father 24 times in that Homeric altercation on April 30, 2020.
The police investigation found that Giuseppe abused for years his wife. That day, however, the 18-year-old son stepped forward to save her.
The teenager is under house arrest after the crime and now faces homicide charges. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison.
