An image straight out of a sci-fi movie is about to become a reality thanks to artificial intelligence, as a man suffering from terminal cancer will stay digitally with his family. 61-year-old Michael Bommer from Berlin who is a software designer was diagnosed two years ago with colon cancer. Since then, he has undergone surgeries and treatments to no avail, giving him little time to live. So he made a farewell post on social media announcing the unpleasant news, which caught the attention of his friend and colleague Robert LoCascio, founder of artificial intelligence service LivePerson.
