A trans man who has given birth to two children talks about the “traumatic experience” of pregnancy

A transgender man who has given birth to two children confesses the difficulties of pregnancy.

Kayden Coleman, 34, now has two children, 7-year-old Azaelia and just 10-month-old baby Jurnee, with his partner.

What does the trans man who has given birth to two children say about the “traumatic experience” of pregnancy

Coleman says he is a proud father of two, but admits that both pregnancies he was “very upset”.

Speaking on the Today show, the teacher from Houston says that his pregnancies were not accepted even by a portion of the medical world, as they called him to have an abortion.

Kayden has been moving from female to male sexual identity since 2009, but has never undergone gender reassignment surgery. In 2013 he just did mastectomy.

At one point she discovered that she was 5 months pregnant. She gave birth to his first child in 2014. Last January she found out she was pregnant again by her 30-year-old partner, Dominique.

“It simply came to our notice then wound“Most of it came from the world of clinics, the medical staff,” he says. There have been many questions about my identity. I was told that I should not be in these places and seek medical attention because these places are considered feminine. “I was told to have an abortion an incredible number of times.”

Most, however, did not realize that she was pregnant, they thought that she had just gained excess belly fat. And so “I should not go around and be afraid, worrying that some people would want to hurt me. “They thought I had a belly button.”

With the wisdom of his experiences today, Kayden wants to inform the world about transgender pregnancy. Which did not always have a negative sign for him:

“I liked some parts of being pregnant, like the fact that it made my beard thicker”…
