No re-nationalization of PPC, but in the midst of the energy crisis we would give an order but the tariffs will freeze, said Alexis Tsipras in his full-length interview (SKAI).
The President of SYRIZA openly stated that he disagrees with the views expressed by Pavlos Polakis and Tasia Christodoulopoulou about “syrizord guards” in the State and Justice, while for PPC he limited himself to talking about untimely privatization in the midst of an energy crisis and the need to intervene in tariffs. However, not for re-nationalization.
He reiterated his self-criticism for the unjust and disproportionate burden of middle-class taxes on his day, but explained that this was done in order to get the country out of the memoranda.
Reiterating his request for elections in the midst of a pandemic, the president of SYRIZA described the prime minister as the “Manager of disaster” in all the critical invitations (pandemic and accuracy).
He remained in the same tactic regarding the invitation to KINAL and the neighboring parties of the minor opposition for cooperation, leaving a mark for Nikos Androulakis that the logic of equal distances can only reach him until the elections. Then he will have to answer the dilemma: With the right or with the progressive forces.
“The prime ministers and the presidents of their parties are elected by the people,” he said when asked what he would do if SYRIZA lost the elections and the changes it was promoting to his party (including the election of a president and KE from the grassroots). denying that he wants SYRIZA to become a presidential party.
In this context he said about:
Accuracy
* The government underestimated the phenomenon. Mr. Mitsotakis did not have the ability to realize that a tsunami of accuracy was coming, not temporary. And now there are citizens who have an existential problem and can not cope.
* I submitted a package of proposals at the TIF, people did not see that what came was coming. It is a sign of managerial incompetence.
* Reduction of EFC to the lower permissible levels. 18 European countries apply it. Even in countries where there have been brave minimum wage increases.
* Mitsotaki’s perception is that we do not intervene anywhere and let the market be regulated. Today these policies are absolutely dangerous.
* 5 billion has been given by Mr. Mitsotakis in direct assignments and he tells us that he does not have to subsidize the energy crisis.
Increase of minimum wage
* Strong lobbies in BSE do not want the increase of the minimum wage. Banks, courier companies and a number of companies do not want it.
* We were pressured by the troika however we increased the minimum wage by 11%.
* Most entrepreneurs, to their credit, do not deny the need to increase the minimum wage.
ENFIA- Taxes
I said that any tax reduction is welcome. But this is very small and is directed to the stronger layers. In essence, the 350 million euros are identical to the additional tax and concern assets over 250,000 euros.
We had to get out of the memoranda, we had a national goal for that and we raised taxes. The political cost we paid to get out of the memoranda is that we unjustly and disproportionately burdened the middle class.
PPC
We would not proceed with the privatization of PPC, especially in the midst of an energy crisis. The Greek State has given subsidies without the people having understood them. The way of management is wrong. It’s like subsidizing cartels.
If SYRIZA wins, there will be another pricing policy. There is no other option than strong bonus support.
Privatization is misplaced and untimely.
Elections
I called for elections a few days after the publication of the Tsiodra-Lytra report. For two years I did not even ask for elections, we asked for joint meetings with the PD. Pandemic management over the last 8 months has been a pivotal shift. Mr. Mitsotakis is the manager of the disaster. We want to put a brake on the coming financial disaster.
Let us not remember the pandemic when it suits, that is, at the request of the elections. The country is in a social and economic impasse. I am ringing the bell so that there is no turning of the citizens into apolitical behavior.
The main dividing line is the State and the welfare state. We progressive forces can find a minimum distance frame.
ΚΙΝΑΛ
The logic of equal distances has a communicative gift until the elections, however. Because then the dilemmas must be answered. KINAL, the KKE, MERA25 are not our opponents.
Polaki – Christodoulopoulou
I disagree with the notion that in order to deal with a corrupt state like the right we must use the same methods. I disagree with this view. Progressive governments formed the ASEP. We will not play on the same field as the opponent. We promote institutional reform and meritocracy.
I challenge Mr. Mitsotakis to play table tennis through journalists, to come and give an interview together.
ΜΜΕ-ΣΚΑΙ
Your own TV station has a strong view. His right. It would be to his advantage if he was less biased. The problem is not SKAI that has chosen to have an identity. The problem in the country is that a radio and television landscape is being formed where most stations have the same identity. The current government has chosen to formulate a monophonic information model.
The targeting of journalists, if it has happened by us, does not represent either me or that is our perception.
