A UN Security Council meeting on North Korea’s recent missile test has been postponed to Friday.

The United Nations Security Council has postponed its meeting by one day on recent tests of North Korean missiles, in particular medium-range ballistic missiles.

Diplomatic sources said yesterday Wednesday that the meeting will take place tomorrow Friday and not today Thursday in camera. It was convened at the request of the United States.

On Sunday, North Korea launched its first medium-range ballistic missile test since 2017. In theory, missiles capable of carrying both nuclear and conventional charge could strike the US island of Guam in the Pacific Ocean. .

North Korean state media reported that the accuracy and effectiveness of this weapon system had been successfully tested.

This was the seventh missile test that Pyongyang conducted in January, from the 5th onwards. He had to make so many launches in a month from 2019, when Kim Jong Un’s summit with then US President Donald Trump in Hanoi, Vietnam, had failed.
