An American one military aircraft crashed into Eastern Mediterranean when one was noted unspecified “accident» during a training flight, the US European Command (EUCOM) announced today.
It is not clear how many people were on board and their fate has not been clarified.
“On the evening of November 10, a US military aircraft carrying out training operations in the Eastern Mediterranean met with an accident and crashed” states the announcement.
“We can state with certainty that the flight was for training purposes only and there is no indication of hostile activityEUCOM added.
No details were given on the type of aircraft, nor on its destination.
The USA have deployed an aircraft carrier and other escort vessels to the Eastern Mediterranean to help keep the war between Israel and Hamas from spreading into the region and turning into a regional conflict.
