“A very strong explosion,” says witness by plane who crashed in SP

A small plane crashed on Marquês de São Vicente Avenue, Barra Funda, west of São Paulo, on the morning of Friday (7).

Two people who were in the aircraft died charred. Among the injured, in a statement, the Fire Department confirmed that six people were rescued.

The bus was hit at the back and caught fire, but according to the Captain of Firefighters Maycon Cristo, the aircraft did not hit the bus straight, the wreckage were.

Carlos Umbelino, a witness on the spot, had just parked the car to work when the accident occurred. According to Carlos, the explosion was very high and hit wires after the aircraft dropped.

“It was scary, a lot of smoke, a lot of fire. A very strong explosion, ”he said.

The witness said that although the region was moved, there were few vehicles at the exact place of the fall.

The Brazilian Air Force (FAB) reported that researchers from the fourth regional aeronautical accident investigation and prevention service (SERIPA IV), regional body of the Aeronautical Accident Investigation and Prevention Center (Cenipa), located in São Paulo (SP), were triggered to perform the initial action of the occurrence involving the PS-FEM registration aircraft.
