A woman and a child were killed in an Israeli operation in the northern part of the West Bank

The Ministry of Health of the Palestinian Authority announced today, Monday 1/7, that a woman and a child were killed today in the northern part of the occupied West Bank during an Israeli operation. Without naming the victims or giving details about their age, the ministry pointed out that “a child and a woman” were killed, while “four other civilians were injured by bullets of the occupation in Tulkarem”. Asked by AFP, the Israeli military did not comment on the information. An AFP correspondent saw Israeli army armored vehicles entering the Noor Shams refugee camp, next to Tulkarem, an area where Israeli security forces are increasing operations. The Palestinian Red Crescent indicated that it provided aid to three wounded after “the occupation forces’ raid on the Nur Shams camp”.
