Stani Kulekhov, CEO of decentralized lending protocol Aave, has been banned from Twitter after posting a tweet that he has become its interim CEO and plans to add Ethereum support.
On April 17, Stani Kulechov posted a joking tweet in which he wrote that he was interim CEO of Twitter. Kulekhov not only pinned this tweet, but also expressed his gratitude to the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk, who bought 100% of the shares of this social network.
“Thanks to Elon Musk for the opportunity to work on Twitter. My first agenda and roadmap for 90 days: make an edit button next week, open the source code of Twitter algorithms, add support for Ethereum and the Ethereum Domain Name System (ENS), and integrate the Lens protocol into this social network,” Kulekhov wrote. .
Kulekhov’s tweets are now unavailable and his Twitter account has been suspended due to the spread of Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt (FUD). At the end of March, Musk said that he would support the principles of “free speech” to ensure democracy, but this does not apply to the spread of disinformation.
However, the cryptocurrency community expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that Kulekhov was taken too harsh measures, and called Twitter’s actions “a violation of standards.”
Note that the Lens protocol, created by the founders of Aave, is a decentralized application for social networks. It is an open Web3 protocol that allows any user to create censorship resistant social media profiles. Elon Musk is sure that Web3 has nothing to do with reality and is far from being realized.
